Terms of sale
Who you’re buying from: In The Margin is sold through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Polar handles payment, tax and receipts. The plug-in is made and supported by Charles Siegel.
The licence: a one-time payment gives one person the right to use the plug-in on up to 3 of their own computers, plus all 1.x updates. You may not resell or share your licence key.
AI services: if you use Claude, you need your own Anthropic account and you’re bound by Anthropic’s terms. Anthropic bills you directly. Local AI mode runs on your own computer.
No warranty: the plug-in only adds keywords and never deletes your photos. Even so, keep backups of your Lightroom catalog. The software is provided as is, and liability is limited to the price you paid.
